INTRODUCING  “Giltedge Dreamgirl”.  Skye is entrusted to us in partnership with Kim Handley (Giltedge Golden Retrievers) from Sydney.

Skye is a half sister on her mother’s side to our gorgeous boy “Ice” (Aust. Ch. Giltedge The Gambler) and a half sister on her father’s side to our stunning young girl “Roxy” (Aust. Ch. Fantango Whata Girlwants).

Skye’s first outing was the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria “40th” Ruby Champ Show.  The Judge is Mrs. Riita Liisa Lehtonen (Finland) – Breed Specialist.

*Skye wins a strong Baby Puppy Bitch class and goes on to win Opposite Baby in Show!!

CRITIQUE READS:
What a lovely puppy – I wish she was mine!  Sweetest feminine head with good dark pigment.  Very well presented cream coat.  Plenty of bone and good feet. Such a beautiful  balanced outline with excellent front angulation and strong level topline. Good well angulated quarters from which she moved with a long free stride.  I was delighted to award her BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.

5th Outing:
Skye wins Best Puppy in Group at Whittlesea Kennel Club Champ Show under Breed Specialist Mr. Russell Britten (NSW).

After a break of 8 months out of the ring due to a coat change –

6th outing:
Skye wins Runner Up in Show and Opp. Junior in Show at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Open Show.

 

7th outing:
Skye wins Reserve Bitch Challenge and Junior in Group at Box Hill & District Kennel Club All Breeds Champ. Show.

 

8th outing:
Skye wins Challenge Bitch at Scottish Breeds Kennel Club

 

9th outing:
Skye wins Challenge Bitch at Bass Valley Kennel Club

 

2009 saw Skye return to the ring briefly to take 1st – Intermediate Bitch at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria (secondary) Champ Show on Saturday 14th February, 2009.  Breed Specialist Mrs. Erica Ward “Fernavey Golden Retrievers”  of W.A. formerly of the U.K.

Pearson & Handley’s Giltedge Dreamgirl. Quality cream. Never put a foot

wrong. Had left her best dress at home but not hiding her good conformation.

Not a big girl. Sweet head. Straight front good shoulder lay and heartroom.

Moved with drive and purpose. In hard condition
