Achievements:
AUST. CH. GILTEDGE THE GAMBLER – “Ice” is certainly a big part at Beaucroft and what a clown he is….

ICE made his mark in the Specialty showring at a young age by taking Best Puppy in Show at the Adelaide G.R. Champ Show in August 2002 under breed specialist Mrs. Anne Falconer from the United Kingdom. In her critique Mrs Falconer said ” A puppy with a lovely outline, excellent topline, very good quarters and stifles – well handled – Best Puppy in Show!

He took 1st Intermediate Dog Class and Best Opposite Sex Intermediate in Show (to the B.I.S. winner) at the Victorian Golden Retriever Club Specialty Show in October 2003. Mr. Nils Molin (Sweden) critque read – Excellent type with good proportions. Very well built and good mover.

At the 4th Golden Retriever National in April 2004 held in N.S.W. Ice took third place in the Intermediate Dog Class from 51 other exhibits, the winner of this class won R/Up in Show. Mrs. A. Mills (Canada) wrote – Lovely type with pleasing head and expression and black pigment. A larger dog, with good rear end and layback, but less length and return of upperarm. Good body depth and development with nice bone. Used himself well on the move.

AUST. CH. GILTEDGE THE GAMBLER takes **BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW** at the Golden Retriever Club of S.A. Champ. Show held on 7th August, 2004 under Breed Specialist Mrs. Margaret Hean (Arangold Golden Retrievers) from New Zealand. In Mrs Hean’s critique she said ” This cream boy took my eye as soon as he entered the ring. Lovely outline, free moving. Nice layback of shoulder and good length of upper arm. Good rear angulation and second thigh with well let down hocks. Pleasing head and expression, nice length of neck. Level topline. Moved with drive covering the ground well.

In the All Breeds Show Ring, Ice has also been awarded many In Group and In Show awards from Judges appreciating his super qualities.

Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Kim Handley (Giltedge Golden Retrievers – NSW) for breeding “Ice” and entrusting him to us! He certainly has done us proud!!!

Ice is now retired from the showring and enjoying his retirement with us as a family dog.
